Ballyvesey Holdings announce merger of Contract Plant Rental, Genesis Equipment Sales & Norwest Plant

Mark Kennedy, Head of Ballyvesey Plant, Access, and Construction GB, highlighted the motivations behind this merger, stating, “By leveraging the strengths of GB Plant and Access Group, we have a unique opportunity to elevate our service levels and better connect with our customers’ needs. The integration of after-sales management services, including parts, warranty, and breakdown assistance, will allow us to deliver a seamless experience and ensure customer satisfaction.”

The merger also facilitates the unification of marketing, finance, and sales strategies, a plan that has been in development for some time. Kennedy added, “Bringing these three organisations together into one unified entity conveys a clear and consistent message to our customers. It also provides our dedicated staff with a stronger sense of direction and purpose, enabling us to deliver unparalleled value.”

While this merger may lead to the conclusion of some established partnerships with original equipment manufacturers (OEMs), it simultaneously offers the opportunity to establish new relationships and collaborate with other equipment manufacturers. This shift in focus will allow Contract Plant to remain at the forefront of industry trends and offer a wider array of cutting-edge equipment options to customers.

Contract Plant

Contract Plant will operate from five regional depots strategically located across the country, providing a comprehensive selection of construction equipment, powered access solutions, and counterbalanced forklifts. Furthermore, Contract Plant Rentals will continue to offer a range of hire services mostly to other rental companies, rather than directly to end-users.

Mark Kennedy expressed optimism regarding Contract Plant ‘s potential for growth, stating, “Our collaborations with major industry players have been key to our significant expansion. By working together with these industry leaders, we can provide a unique turnkey solution that fosters customer loyalty. Our customers can purchase, hire, enter long-term or short-term contracts, and access our comprehensive service contracts, even for equipment not sold by our group. With access to 90% of OEMs’ parts, we offer an unmatched, full-service solution in our sector.”
